Stroke patients could get to hospital quicker thanks to a new smartphone App
The FAST test app - the first of its kind - has been devised by Graeme Heron and Dr. William Whiteley in the Division of Clinical Neurosciences University of Edinburgh to provide people with a simple test to spot stroke.

Stroke Information +is a one-stop site
to quality assured health information and learning resources to build
confidence in taking charge of your health and wellbeing, and was developed by NHS Education for Scotland. Their website provides a gateway to:
- Patient leaflets, medicines information, and support groups;
- Information about benefits, health and social services;
- Treatment guidelines, evidence and research for those who want more
in-depth information about their condition.

Lothian Health Board Library and Resource Centre
The Lothian Health Board Library and Resource Centre is open to the general public. It is based in Blackford Pavilion at Astley Ainslie Hospital (where our MCN Office is based) and its resources can be borrowed.
